If you're in the school district I go to the school starts at 8:45. In my opinion school starting at that time is already pretty late in the morning. Depending on what time you get up if you get up at 7am and go to bed at 9pm that is 10 hours of sleep which is exactly enough sleep even a little more than what researchers show teens need. We start at 845 and get out at 345 and most people eat dinner at 5 to 530.That only gives us one hour to do whatever before we need to be home for dinner.If school starts at 7 and gets out at 230 then we would have like 2 and a half hours of free time.In that time it gives more time to do things such as hangout with friends run errands and do homework so we don't have to stay up all night and work on it.
If kids wants more sleep and to be rested up all the way for school then they should go to bed early and be responsible.
