Year Round Schooling by Christina D'Aries
I am not going to simply state facts and information about things that none of you probably care about, because it does not affect you personally. Well, I am going to speak about something that does have a personal effect on each and every one of you – school and vacation. I bet all of you spend your vacation either going away to some luxurious destination, hanging out with friends and family, or as we all know we all do – just hanging around the house doing absolutely nothing. These are the great qualities of summer vacation; we all look forward to the huge break which means no school and no worries. Yet, this is not as satisfying as it possibly can get. Let me explain how it can be improved. I propose year-round schooling. Now before everyone gets riled up, let me explain the beneficial factors that contribute to year-round schooling. By the end of the year the majority of us are itching to get out of this school and begin our long-awaited summer vacation. Without summer vacation, there would be nothing to look forward to, therefore we would focus more on our school work and succeed all throughout the year, rather than just in the beginning. Many of you are probably thinking, you just said, “Without summer vacation, there would be nothing to look forward to,” and you expect
