Animal Testing Whole-Body
If animals should be used for testing is a big dispute between people. I believe that it's alright for animals to be used for test. In the article, “should animals be used for scientific or commercial testing”, the author states “The California Biomedical Research Association states that nearly every medical breakthrough in the last 100 years resulted directly from research using animals.” The text also states that “There is no adequate alternative to testing on a living, whole-body’s symptoms. In closure, animals are best for testing because it not only can benefit humans, but it also benefits some animals.

As a result from animal testing, the animals benefit likewise. “If vaccines were not tested on animals, millions of animals would have died from rabies, distemper, feline leukemia, infectious hepatitis, anthrax, and canine pauro. Animal testing has also

The text “Should animals be used for Scientific or Commercial Testing,” the author states that “American women use an average of 12 personal care products per day, so product safety is of great importance.” Safety for humans is very important to keep human existence alive. “China requires that all cosmetics be tested on animals before they go on sale, so cosmetics companies must have their products tested on animals if they want distribution in china.” While I believe that animals are alright to be tested on, the opposing side believes that it is not right to test things on animals. The text, “Should Animals Be Used for Scientific or Commercial Testing,” the author states that “animals are very different from human beings and therefore make poor test subjects.” The text also states that “chimpanzees share 99% of their DNA with humans, and mice are 98% genetically similar to humans.” Most animals are not that much different from humans. Since animals are so much like humans, they are susceptible to some illnesses and

Animal testing is bad science. Time and time again animal experiments show that it is wasting lives and resources. “Most animal experiments are not relevant to human health. When it comes to the topic of animal testing, most of us will readily agree that it is a debatable topic. Where this argument usually ends, however, is on the conversation if animal testing is necessary. Whereas some are convinced that using animals for testing has contributed to many lifesaving cures and treatments, others maintain that these animals are very different from humans and, therefore, make poor test subjects. My own view is these animals have produced many treatments, but not outcomes that are effective enough in the human body, therefore should not be using animals.…

Scientists never express their thoughts about testing cosmetics on animals. Nature surveyed a thousand biomedical scientists, over seventy percent of those scientists conduct experiments on animals. About ninety percent of those scientists felt that animal testing is important in scientific improvements but they also said that they are concerned about the well being of the animal. When they test them they try and use little as many animals as they can and they treat them with respect.…

Not only humans, but animals also benefit from the use of animal testing. In fact, if animals aren’t used for medical research certain vaccines for rabies, hepatitis and other diseases wouldn’t be curable (Trull). However, many people argue that the human anatomy differs from that of animals. Nonetheless, animals and humans still share common features. For example, monkeys, just like humans, share the same fundamental use of hormones to counteract infections, which has helped scientist improve research (Trull). For the people who doubt animal testing should go to hospitals and look at patients who have survived from illnesses and diseases, because if it had not been for animals lives wouldn’t be…

Animal testing is rarely successful since animals have different physiologies than humans. There has been many studies that have shown inaccuracy and unsuccess in animal testing. Studies show, “90 percent of medications approved for human use after animal testing later proved ineffective or harmful to humans in clinical trials” (Stop Animal Testing) and also, “Animal-tested drugs have killed, disabled or harmed millions of people and lead to costly delays as well” (Stop Animal Testing). It is evident that animal testing lacks accuracy and has dangerous consequences, therefore it should no longer be…

Animals should not be tested on because the testing is like torture. There are too many animals being tested on, especially monkeys, since they are the closest things to humans. According to Newsela, a current event website for kids, “Since 1960, the number of chimpanzees has shrunk. The latest count put the number of chimps in the world at 300,000 to 430,000.” “Registration of a single pesticide requires more than 50 experiments and the use of as many as 12,000 animals.”states the…

Animal testing started many years ago. Scientists find new medications to test but they don’t want to potentially kill a live human being. So, their next option is to go to a poor helpless rat and test on them. Imagine you being a little rat not able to do anything to stop yourself from possibly dying. Humans hate shots so do you really think any animal is going to like shots either? No, animals have the same feelings as humans do. We need to find a way to put animal testing to an end.…

Animal testing has been a controversial topic for many generations throughout the world. People against animal testing say that animal testing is cruel and inhumane and we should not be able to experiment on animals. They argue that alternate resources and methods are available to scientist so that testing on animals can be avoided. Also, they argue that humans and animals are so different in their genetic makeup that the results taken from testing on animals can be completely different than on humans. People that support animal testing say that many important medical discoveries have been found using animal testing and that it is very beneficial to finding cures and also finding harmful things as well. For instance, the vaccine for polio was developed by the testing of rabbits, monkeys, and rodents (Hayhurst 9). They also acknowledge that there are strict regulations used in laboratories to prevent animals from being mistreated, however we see many mistreated animals. Performing test on animals is mistreating animals. Scientist also state that animal testing is the only way to observe and research a living…

It is very beneficial to use animal for many reasons. One reason is because it lowers how many humans we have to test on, which it is way better then testing on humans. It also gets quicker approval. In cases where it is unethical to test on humans, animals are available to be used. Even though it is testing on a different species it is very reliable, because they are similar enough to humans. Animals themselves benefit from the testing on animals. This does not make sense at first, but when you think about it a little more it makes sense because discoveries are also made that help the animals along the way.…
