Emotional stability is the opposite of neuroticism. People with emotional stability are not easily upset and are less emotionally reactive. They tend to be calm, emotionally stable, and free from persistent negative feelings. I think I score high in emotional stability since my emotion is not easily influenced by external factor such as others’ emotion. For instance, sometimes, my friend talk to me when he is upset. Even though he is very distress while he is pouring out his trouble, I still can maintain a stable emotion and try to cheer him up after he finished his talk.
Extraversion is marked by the level of engagement with the external world. I think I have characteristics of both in extraversion and introversion since I adapt and make some adjustment in different environment. For example, I can be an action-oriented person to be a leader when there is no people to stand up to lead the group. However, I tend to be quiet and reserved when

I think I am a highly agreeable people because I am very considerate and willing to compromise interests with others’. For example, when my friend holds a different opinion with me, I won’t oppose him immediately even though I do not like their choice.
Conscientiousness reflects one’s reliability. People who score high tend to be more responsible, organized, dependable, and persistent. I think I am a highly conscientious person since I am a highly ordered person in daily life. For example, I keep a schedule book to record what I am going to doing. Also, I like to keep all my thing tidy. Therefore, I tidy up my room

Personality influences how people think, feel, respond, judge, and their well-being and life decisions. Therefore, personality develops the character traits of individuals. As written by Twenge and Zhang (309) based on two meta-analyses carried out on young Americans, a majority of them believe that their lives are subject to forces outside their efforts. The subjects of this study, who were mostly college students and young children between the ages of nine and 14, showed that for most people, personality predetermines how they interact with others around them. The role of personality in shaping individuals' lives has been considered by several scholars, who believe that people are driven by their personality, which, in turn, shapes their…

In the first assessment tool “What Is My Basic Personality?” the focus was on the five-factor model of personalities which are-extraversion, agreeableness, conscientiousness, emotional stability, and openness to experience. Based off this evaluation, my basic personality indicates that I am moderately extroverted because I scored a ten. My conscientiousness, emotional stability and openness to experience scores were high with a score of fifteen. My personality does indicate that I am someone who is agreeable because I scored thirteen. According to the analysis and interpretation, a high agreeableness and conscientiousness score indicates someone who “is good-natured, cooperative, and trusting” (Robbins, 2007 pg.9). A high conscientiousness score represents “someone who is responsible, dependable, persistent, and achievement oriented” (Robbins, 2007 pg.9). Also, a high emotional stability score indicates “someone who is calm, enthusiastic, and secures (Robbins 2007 pg.9). Finally, a high openness to experience score signifies someone who is “imaginative, artistically sensitive, and intellectual” (Robbins, 2007 pg 9). My score indicates that I have a positive emotional stability level, conscientious and openness to experience. However, extraversion and agreeableness were moderate scores which imply that I can improve in these areas.…

Throughout analyzing the NEO Personality Inventory 3, one of the traits that stuck out to me the most was Extraversion. This facets of extraversion on my NEO ranged from the 95th percentile to the 2nd percentile. For warmth I scored very highly, meaning that I am affectionate and friendly. It means that I genuinely care for people and want to make close bonds with people. I also scored high in the gregariousness and Excitement-seeking facets. For my evaluations I had my brother, my boyfriend, my friend and my neighbor evaluate me. Based on their evaluations I scored highest in the Conscientiousness Dimension. I guess that is a good thing. According to The Owners Manual for the Brain I am somewhere between Balanced and Focused. This means that they view me as being organized, responsible, punctual, and dedicated to hard work. I also learned that people who score higher in the Conscientiousness Dimension have a certain way of doing things and tend to see only their way as ‘right' and tend to be perfectionists.…

First you have your energy. Where does your energy come from? If you draw your energy from dealing with people, things and circumstances then you are an Extravert. If you draw your energy from dealing with ideas, information and the belief of something then you are and Introvert. Next, how do you process your information? Do you choose to deal with facts and what you already know. Then you are using your Senses. If you choose to deal with ideas, looking into the unknown and generating any new possibilities, then you are using your Intuition. Then you must look at how you make your decisions. If you choose to make decisions based on objective logic and detached approach, then you are a Thinker. If you choose to use values, what you believe to be important then you are using your Feeling. Lastly, how do you organize your life? If you prefer to have your life planned out, stable and organized then you are Judging, not to be confused with judgmental. I think of myself as a very easy going person, I’m usually very patient with other people and it takes a lot for me to truly get angry or upset. I’ll go out of my way to avoid confrontation usually and for the most part this makes me an easy person to get along with and fairly likeable. I also enjoy being social and have a large circle of friends. This transfers over in the workplace as I can get along with others and work well in team environments on projects. I also place a high value on relationship in the workplace and feel it’s important to get along with your fellow employees. I am also extremely optimistic and will always look to problem solve a way out of a scenario whether it be at work, school, or with my friends. These strengths also come with some areas that I believe I can improve on. I score in the lower half of openness to experience and this means I could work on thinking outside the box and being more creative. In the workplace I do value conventionality and order, which can be good, however it wouldn’t hurt to expand my thinking by getting more creative. This would be especially important if working on projects that don’t necessarily have set guidelines. One area, under conscientiousness, that I think people tend not to see about me is the fact that I am actually very organized, motivated, and structured. I like to know exactly what I’m doing and how to do something before I begin a project/assignment. I can see how people wouldn’t see this so much in me because when I am in more social situations I tend to appear to be loose and not very organized. Because my evaluator’s scores were so similar to mine, I don’t really know if there are any areas that people tend to see in me that I don’t. One slightly higher score was in emotionality. I don’t think I am emotional at all and for the most part I am worry free. My evaluator scored me slightly…

The first trait is extraversion, which focuses mainly on social situations. On this section I scored a 24, which is considered relatively low. This score indicates that I would be considered an introvert, meaning that I am more reserved and tend to avoid large groups. I absolutely agree with this score because I have always been the person that chose to stay home and watch movies rather than spend my time at a party.…

People often speak of personalities and how different people have different personalities. These differing personalities lead to a variety of personal preferences and ideas and views. Two common different personality traits that most people choose to categorize themselves as are introversion and extraversion. Introversion, or introverts as we call people who manifest this trait, is when a person is more "inward turning", focusing on emotions and thoughts rather than external stimulation (Cherry, n.d.). Extraverts/extroverts are very sociable and gregarious and enjoy being around other people (Cherry, n.d.).…

They tend to stay focused and very rarely break the roles. Those who have a lower sense of conscientiousness typically portray qualities such as organization and fall victim to impulsiveness. Number three on the scale of the big five personality traits is extroversion. Extroversion and introversion is based off of how the brain restores energy not how outgoing a person is. Extroverts re-energize by going out and socializing while introverts after a social event typically end up taking a day or two to rejuvenate.…
