Capstone 01 Reflection Assignment
Reflection.
I feel that the capstone 01 unit is very different to all the other subjects I studied at the Swinburne university so far. Activities that I contributed and are yet to contribute seems very interesting and significant in some ways both to my education and social knowledge. I am placed in a group where there are students from different nationalities and ages. In my opinion I believe that being able to actively participate in such a diverse group will definitely encourage me to sharpen some of my study techniques.
The individual test was somewhat different from the group test and the case study. My group test score was higher than the individual test score. As a team, we all participated in answering the questions. I think there was a free flow of constructive ideas which helped to reach higher marks. This again reminded me that active participating in group work often allowing me to enhance social skills, co-operative skills and excellent communication skills and vice versa.
The group case study was a great experience. It exposed me to tackle more complex problems with my teammates in a different perspective. Our team is very diverse and the team members are from different cultural backgrounds and ethnicities. I think that being able to work together with this unique, diverse …show more content…
I think that this subject already started to sharpen my team working skills. I know for a fact that to anyone who is working in the work force it will be an overwhelming experience not to have any team working skills. It will be like you are hitting a brick wall every time when you have to get work done in your job. I will have to work with people who I have never seen before. I do not know what sort of characteristics they hold. Therefore, I firmly believe that engaging in this type of group activities will provide me with an opportunity to familiarize myself with unexpected work conditions in various work
