College Should Be Free

Did you know that college can cost $30,000 or more depending on the college? Students have to pay for tuition, dorms, meal plans, books, fees, and more. It’s clear that college should be free because college students pay too much money and college is essential for having a good career, broaden their skills, and students could focus more on their education instead of working all the time to pay.
For example, the main reason why college should be free is because college is essential for building an excellent career. Though, many people never apply to the most challenging colleges because some students can’t afford it so, they can’t get the best jobs they want to accomplish. However, students know if they apply to the challenging colleges
they can get a good job but that also means that it costs more money to go to a better college. In one example, estimates from 2013, young adults in America earn over 60% more if they have a Bachelor's degree than if they only complete high school.
College is needed to have a career that students want to pursue in life but if students have debt because they're paying for college and if hey have debt then they won’t get as good of a career. In fact, more and more jobs are now requiring college degrees. If most students just go to high school and not go to college because they can’t afford it they won’t get a good job or get paid a lot of money to pay for all of their bills and payments. Such as, a car if you don’t pay the payments you could get the car taken away. In fact, not only is college essential for building a good career, people could also broaden their skills or talents. For instance, students could participate in more activities they enjoy. Students could be more successful if they do more activities that they would like to do because they would have more opportunities for jobs or sports in the future. Establishing better extensive system of national service that enables young adults to learn new things. People could learn new skills that could help them in the future with businesses, or sports if they want to play in the NBA (National Basketball Association) or
NFL (National Football League) for example. Students would have to practice a lot in college if they would want to play those sports. Students could try new ideas that they would like to do such as sports, music, art, or classes that they want to take for the job they’re working towards. The jobs people want to have in the future depends what students want to study for and what classes they take in college.
In fact, besides people broadening their skills and talents, students could focus more on their education than gathering up money to pay for their tuition. As a result, students wouldn’t have to start in a low-wage job. Graduating students can be in a higher job such as a doctor, nurse, or dentist instead of working at a job that doesn’t pay much. However, if college was free it would help students focus on learning rather than working to earn money to pay for college, so they could complete degrees faster. Students wouldn’t have to get a job in college and instead of working people could study more and get better grades. In addition, in 2015, the amount total of student loan debt in America estimated to be 1.3 million. There is a lot of debt in America for college because it is too much money and some people can’t afford it because they’re studying for finals, exams, etc. that they don’t have enough time to work.
It is obvious that college is very important for getting a good job, students could open their opportunities for their skills and talents, and people could focus more on their grades and classes instead of trying to make enough money to pay each year. For these reasons it is clear that college is essential for all people. There might be many reasons why college shouldn’t be free but college education is one of the most important goals for a happy life.
