Chapter 1
Background of the Project
Introduction
Concessionaires converge at the two-storey University Canteen to give students a wide array of choices for snacks and meals. Presented fast-food style, students serve themselves and recharge their energies in a multi-colored canteen to make mealtime a joyful moment with classmates and teachers. But since this is where food for the day is handled, utmost cooperation is needed to keep it clean, orderly and efficient. After taking their meals, students must put trash in waste cans, and trays and utensils in racks where they belong. With nutritious food and clean surroundings, all are assured of enjoyable mealtimes. The Food court is open from 7:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., Monday to Saturday.
