Dramatic Monologue
The scene displayed a bowl-cut haired boy standing outside the school gymnasium. He had white polo shirt with hints of yellow stains and worn out shoes. He opened his bag, took an envolope, and pocketed it. The boy looked happy, his crooked teeth visible. He walked around the gymnasium until he reached the backdoor and opened the door. There, the girl’s volleyball club were practicing. The boy closed the door, sat on a nearby chair, and watched the spiking practice took place. Every now and then, the ball would bounce far away and almost reach him. He wanted to try to at least catch the ball and send it back to the girls given his hesitating movements. But the chance didn’t emerge, since before the ball reached him a girl was already chasing …show more content…
“Yeah, umm, I’m [ ]. I wasn’t paying attention so it’s my fault.” The girl said, looking sideways. “By the way, umm, I--”
The already ran far away, he said: “I’m in a hurry, sorry.” They boy waved his arms.
Karkus heard a loud heartbeat coming from the scene. The girl held her hands on her chest, her cheeks reddening. “Kyaaaa☆~~. Even if you ignore me, I want to be in love.”
The scene faded. A garden bedecked with various flowers and grand mansion behind faded in. The camera panned to the left. Trakun sat on a light blue chair, holding a cup of tea. He gulped down the tea and placed it on the table. He stood up.
“Did you see their face?” Trakun asked, trodding. “They’re either disappointed or longing for something. Who can help them in their time of needs? Who can make their wishes come true? Who can completely change their life to the way they wanted?
“There’s a person they can and that is me, Trakun. I am a maker of destiny and the guide of heroes. With just a drop of my magic, I could make their wishes become reality.”

I asked my father money to buy hundreds of fashion magazines but he wouldn’t budge. Instead, he had me have braces, and hired fitness instructor and a nutritionist. I was losing hope at that time because there was a single thing I lack and that is fashion sense. Even though I have a huge closet, I can’t pair them accordingly. So to cope with my sadness, I started running in the neighborhood aimlessly. Ran through bridges, alleyways, marketplace, and hopped on rooftops. Then after running, I saw a truck parked behind our mansion. The truck driver told me that the truck is mine. I don’t know why but I just accepted the truck.
“When I opened the truck, I was met with a flood of fashion magazines. I read all of that carefully and instilled all of it in my mind. And that’s how I became like this. All natural. Apparently, I’m not meant to be ugly and just an envious guy hiding in a corner watching my loved one through a window.”
“What happened to the truck driver?” The brown-haired girl asked.
“I don’t know. After standing, he was gone as if he was never there.” The boy said. He looked at his watch and nodded to himself. “I’ve got to meet my girlfriend, go scram.” He pushed the girls aside and went outside the room. The girls didn’t seem to mind and talked to each other about the spiky-haired boy.

As soon as the boy went outside the room, he bumped to a long-haired girl. They both fell onto their

About a minute later, I saw Johnny’s car around the corner. My eyes followed it until it was in front of me. “Let’s go, Angela.” I opened the car door, threw in the bag of clothes, and signaled Angela to get in. I followed, and closed the door. “Going back home.” Johnny nodded as he locked the car. While the car was in motion, Angela started to move and took out the blue shirt she picked earlier. She showed a proud smile while holding it in front of her. She started to chuckle and talk in a happy proud tune. “John, John! Don’t you think that this is cute?” He looked at the front car mirror and smiled. “Of course, madam.” I started to notice that the speed of the car is a little unusual. It seems faster than usual.…
