Examples Of Argumentative Essay Animal Testing
Argumentative Essay

Animal testing has become all too common; from household products to cosmetics 50 to 100 million animals are killed each year in these experiments. These animals have been burnt, blinded, crushed, sliced, electrocuted, tortured, and even drugged for scientific research. What makes humans have the right to exploit innocent animals and often expose them to harm? It is morally wrong to put these animals through such pain. Instead of testing on animals scientists should find alternative ways to do their research. Animal testing is absurd and should stop. Animals are independent and do not exist to serve humans. What gives us humans the right to exploit them this way? Animals have rights as do you and I. Just like

An estimated 26 million animals are used every year in the United States fir various types of testing. These animals are used for scientific and commercial testing to develop medical treatments, determine toxicity of medications and chemicals, check the safety of products destined for human use and other biomedical or healthcare purposes. This testing on animals is cruel, inhumane and should be banned. It should be banned because the animals are held and live in inhumane conditions, it is harmful and at times lethal to the animals and there are other research method available that do not require animal testing.…

There are a lot of bad things that happen in this world and Animal Testing is one of them. Doctors,Scientists and other people test on these animals everyday. In my opinion there should be no animal testing at all. It is cruel. Right now there are millions of animals sitting in cold cages waiting for their next painful procedure. The stress, sterility and boredom causes them to develop neurotic behaviors such as, biting themselves and running around in circles. Most of these animals are killed after the testing because there is no possible way for them to live after this has happened. More than 100 million animals suffer this torture. Exact numbers have not been found, in rats, mice, birds, and cold blooded animals take up about 90 percent.…

When it comes to the topic of animal testing, most of us will readily agree that it is a debatable topic. Where this agreement usually ends, however, is on the question of whether it helps researchers to find new drugs and treatments suitable for humans. Whereas some are convinced that it does help researchers find new drugs and treatments, others maintain that some drugs tested on animals may never actually be useful or even safe for human consumption. In my own view the results of animals testing are unreliable because animals and humans are not genetically or anatomically alike to one another.…

Cosmetic tests performed on animals include dropping chemicals in the animal’s eyes. Animal cruelty is when someone hurts an animal or does not care for an animal responsibly. Animal testing is basically that, so, technically, animal testing is animal abuse. Animals should not be experimented on because the testing is somewhat like torture and they are innocent. Although huge developments have been made with animal testing, about 90% of successful animal testing is not successful when used on humans.…

In animal testing, countless animals are experimented on and then killed after their use is up. Some are injured and will still live the remainder of their life in captivity. The doctors will not do anything to help the animals that are in pain that happen to be the reason because of them. It is the aspect of animals testing that many view as a major negative against the practice, as it seems that the animal died in vain because no direct benefit to humans occurred. Even though animals and humans have many things in common like how we both have the same organ system, there are also many things that are different between animals and humans. Many animals cannot handle or take the same medication as humans, most the surgeries that are operated on animals are just too strong for an animal to take so they end up dying or sick for the rest of their lives. (Animal Testing…

Every year millions of animals are subjected to horrible unethical experimentations in order to advance medical science. Dogs, cats, monkeys, mice, and other animals are kept in dark rooms in cages while being exposed to various toxic and poisonous substances daily in order to test how the substance may react in humans. These poor creatures suffer from inhumane treatments and are denied any form of happiness, and these experiments should cease and alternatives should be used instead. Animal testing is a cruel and ineffective medical practice that produces unreliable results and those laboratories should use safer alternatives that will provide more accurate results.…

Throughout history, animal testing has been used for a variety of research and tests, but we never stop to realize the cruelty and inhumanity of their environments. Gandhi once said, “The greatness of a nation and its moral progress can be judged by the way its animals are treated” (qtd. in Hajar). Animal testing is unnecessary and irrational because we have the technology to replace the inhumane testing, which proves to be even more accurate and precise with its results as well. With new technologies such as cell cultures, human tissues, and in vitro tests, we are able to replace some of the tests that cause harm and discomfort to those animals.…

Animal testing is cruel. In conclusion, it needs to be stopped. As previously stated, we are hurting animals when there are other ways to go about it. Animals are living, breathing creatures that have rights and should be protected. They don’t deserve to be hurt anymore than we do. For example, they can feel pain, and sadness just like we can, so in what way does it make it right to harm them for our own benefit. That makes us selfish and rude. Animal testing is cruel, and mean, and needs to come to an…

Animal testing has always been a dispute between people; some people think it’s morally wrong and some people think it helps with medical and scientific breakthroughs. Drugs that people use or cosmetics that are used could have been tested through animals before being stocked on shelves. About 800 animals are tested on before a drug is passed to clinical trials (“Is animal”). Many animals get tested on, but many like mice, rabbits, hamsters, monkeys, dogs, cats, pigs, and some other animals get tested on. Animals can be used to find new advances in medical treatment and check safety for products, but these animals that get tested on can go through pain and death. Animal testing is wrong and should be stopped because…

Is animal testing wright or wrong? In my opinion I think animal testing is absolutely wrong because what did they deserve to get a human disease and see if some trial medication works on their animal bodies, nothing. Medical researchers say their saving so many people’s lives but are they really or are we just wasting some of our best friend’s lives? Animal testing is not just used for medical research, it’s also used for make those makeup products that most girls own or buy from the store. Each year, more than 100 million animals—including mice, rats, frogs, dogs, cats, rabbits, hamsters, guinea pigs, monkeys, fish, and birds—are killed in U.S. laboratories for biology lessons, medical training, curiosity-driven experimentation, and chemical, drug, food.…

Imagine being deprived of food and water, being forced to inhale toxic gasses, going through surgery without any anesthesia, or being physically restrained for long periods of time. Many animals go through this every year. According to the Humane Society International, more that 115 million animals are used worldwide for laboratory experiments almost every year and about a 100 million are just from the United States! The animals they use include mice, fish, rats, rabbits, farm animals, pigs, dogs and much more.
