Compare and Contrast Essay
Walter Winchell once said, A friend us one who walks in when the rest of the world walks out. In my life I have three different best friends, and the three of them walk into my life whenever there needed when the world walks out. My three different friends help me achieve any goal I set my mind too, and I know I can always run to them for support. The first friend that I have is the friend that I’ve known since I was in first grade. Her name is Chelse we’ve always been real close ever since we were young. I’d do anything for her, and I know she would do anything for me. The significance of our friendship is that who knew the girl who lived around the corner would end up being the girl that I call my girlfriend. I remember there was a time when at my job everyone’s hours got cut back, and I didn’t have money like that. Chelse made sure I stayed on my feet, gave me money when I needed it, and made sure I had gas in my car. At that time the metaphor of the world that’s used in my quote is my job, when my job left me that’s when Chelse walked in, and helped her friend out. We just aren’t friends because she doesn’t mind supporting me if I need it, we’re friends because she’s always had my back when I needed her, and made sure she caught me when she felt like I was about to fall. My second friend I consider like a brother to me, and his name his Robert I met him back when I was in the 10th grade. We had an advanced placement science class, the class was hard, but we helped each other out throughout the course. Outside of the class we began to hang, go to parties together, workout together, go see movies with girls, and do other things friends do. I began to stay at his house; I was at his house so much his mother claimed me as her son. I considered his house my house, his brothers my brothers, and his family my family.
