My Reflection On My Time In Comp I

Going into Comp II makes me reflect on my time in Comp I. As a writer, I have grown older and wiser since my semester in Comp I and sometimes wish that I could take the skills I know now and apply them to my writing back then. I learned so much in Comp I and improved as a writer and student because of it. Comp I taught me how to organize my time, to put more emphasis on grammar, and to work hard to get the grade.
Comp. I helped me improve my organization skills. I had so much trouble in the beginning trying to do a whole paper in a week, on top of my other school work. I learned that I did not organize my time wisely. I talked too much during class which resulted in me doing too much work outside of class. Comp. I made me learn to manage my time so I could get my assignments in on time without stressing over the deadline. Finally after realizing that class was not play time but work time, I was able to get organized and get to work. Comp.I taught me how to organize my time.
I showed me my weakness in writing lied in my grammar. I had never knew how much work I needed on my grammatical skills until taking Comp I. I was writing off the level of a fifth grader, grammar wise. Commas were a big issue of mine that I had never noticed because my past teachers had never put much emphasis on their importance. I learned, however, more about the rules in grammar and began to make changes throughout my writing. I soon realized that although my content may be excellent, grammatical errors made my paper elementary. Comp.
