Pharmacist Personal Statement
Being interested in a particular subject always helps one pursue that said subject with more persistence. Science and more specifically health has always been an interest of mine. This translated into school allowing me to be persistent and successful in classes with this subject matter, as well as without. The skills I have obtained over the years will most definitely translate to my success as a pharmacist. I plan to use all of my knowledge to help me pursue something that I have a passion for. This will allow me to go through life doing something I enjoy, making life that much more fun to live. When you enjoy something success is eminent. The science I have learned will allow me to understand the practical applications that the job presents. …show more content…
Learning about the different possibilities afforded due to new technology in science made me want to go into pharmacy even more. More specifically the means in which medicine can be produced now showed me that this field is forever expanding. Being a pharmacist will allow to immerse myself into this growing field and use my knowledge to help it flourish. Along with it being a great profession, I plan to use my pharmacy degree not just to serve others, but also contribute to findings that will benefit people I may not be able to physically contact. With this being an aspect of pharmacy, I will always find my job intriguing. Whether I am a drug store pharmacist or working in a lab, the biotechnological influence in the field will always be around me giving me comfort and excitement in the work …show more content…
My goal is to access knowledge not available at the undergraduate level. Your institution will provide me with this, along with the skills necessary to help me successfully matriculate into the field of pharmacy. Along with gaining skills at your higher institution of learning I plan to contribute in various ways. I am really interested in participating in research going on at your pharmacy school. I want to be engulfed in the industry as a student. This way I will be able to contribute to the advancement of your institution while being involved in a strong interest of mine. I also want to contribute as an active member in the classroom. The best way to learn things is to actually engage in them.
