I do not believe that the rabbits and humans are not on the same page morally. However, I do believe that we should not be so harsh, when doing the testing, we can lessen the pain that they are in. We have medicine that could be used to numb the rabbit before injections, and we could even have medicines that will help the effects of the products. The main problem that the companies will have is the cost factor. If we are to have respect for persons that we cannot knowingly test chemicals on them knowing that the outcome may be good. It would be using them as a mere means to an end, which is what we ought not to do. Therefore, the only logical, and moral thing to do is to test on animals.
From an environmentalism viewpoint, it would be considered wrong to be doing the testing on in animal, or anything in the environment. They believe that all things have dignity and the right to respect, but if we were to go about life that way we would not have many different things. We would not have houses, cars, gas, food, money, televisions, all these different things that are made up of things from the environment; therefore, the things that they use go against the belief system. It is impossible to truly live as with an environmentalism
