Statement Of Purpose To Be A Member Of The Honor Society
I would not only like to, but be considered for membership within the NEHS, NMHS, and SMHS because it would make my parents and family proud. I also want to be a good role model for my sisters, who are just now entering their journey in their education. Especially for my younger sister, who is in 6th grade and in 2 years will enter high school. It would be an honor to be a member of the Honor Societies to make my parents proud and be an example/role model to my sisters. My parents made many sacrifices to get me and my sisters a better education then they did. I come from Mexico and my parents didn't have the same opportunities for education like I have right now and I have to thank them because they left their families to come to an unknown place with an unknown language just so I could study and have a better life then they did. …show more content…

It will demonstrate them that I'm trying hard in school and that I am getting a better education and that the sacrifices they made were worth it because I want to continue to college and get a degree in Teaching and Computer graphics. It will also be an honor to wear the ropes on graduation day because it will once again make my parents happy and proud. All I want to do is make my parents happy and proud of the decision they made 10 years ago because they worked so hard to give me a better life then what they had, the least I can do is work hard in school and meet my goals of going to college and get my Teaching degree and Computer graphics degree. I believe being a member of the Honor Societies of English, math, science, and history is one of the many ways I can make them
