Why I Want To Become An Adult Nurse

Becoming an Adult Nurse will allow me to attain my ambition and work with adults of all ages with a wide variety of health conditions, and I will be able to improve the quality of their life. In addition working as an adult nurse means lots of exciting challenges and I will be able to keep a cool head and use my initiative. Moreover, one of the reasons that led me to become an Adult Nurse is that it will provide me an opportunity to discover the ideas of health and ill health within the adult population.

While I am doing my work placement I have developed good communication skills, which lead me to identify communication barriers. In addition to gain experience working with older people, I am in the process of volunteering at GB to observe nurses while they are doing their work, particularly for the elderly where I look forward to further developing the related skills. I enjoy practical work and also I love the idea of putting theory into practice; for example at my college I have done a lot of experiments that based on the theory and from that I was able to communicate theory into practical, as I learnt that in the unit scientific communication. I strongly believe that when I train as an Adult Nurse I will be putting all the theory that I have learn from lessons into my work placements.
