Why School Should Start Later
Too Early Many people have trouble waking up in the morning and others don't get enough sleep. The reason for this is because school starts a bit too early. There's a proven fact that the brain does not work properly before 10 a.m.. Therefore, school is still okay to start around 9 a.m. to 9:30 a.m. because around that time, our brains would be ready to go and more people would go to school on time. Also if school started later then it can give the teachers more time to get there plans completed and ready to go for the day. Finally we can all eat breakfast in peace if we had 2 extra hours before school starts. Although some people think that school should start and end later some can argue that if we don't it can prepare us to the work force when we grow up. …show more content…

Many teenagers have trouble sleeping at night and school makes them wake up early in the morning so they don't have enough sleep. “ Sleep is not a luxury or an indulgence but a fundamental biological need, enhancing, creativity, mood, and the ability to interact with others”. I know that it's not the schools falt that the teenager has to get up early in the morning but it does affect them from getting enough sleep. The less sleep teenagers get the more stress they get from others. Sleep can also affect the way you age, the more sleep you have the better you'll age
