My mother and grandmother instilled in me the value of strong work ethic and responsibilities that one needs to incur to facilitate their goals, motivations, and dreams. As a result when I have a goal to reach, I dedicate myself to getting the task done. This extends to my aspiration to become an epidemiologist. Having done my undergraduate studies at a historically black college in Mississippi, I would consider it my privilege to be able to pursue my graduate studies at your HBCU where my mind will be challenged and my life will be changed.I am very excited to apply to Jackson State University.
