Why Is Animal Testing Unnecessary
It is estimated that 26 million animals are used for testing each year. Animals should not be used for testing. It is inhumane, unnecessary, inaccurate, and expensive. Animal testing is inhumane. Animals for testing don’t get anesthesia. They are also poorly treated. They are put through pain such as physical restraint, food and water deprivation, etc. Tested animals have horrible lives and testing still continues. These animals are being mistreated not much is being done about it. Animal testing is unnecessary. Scientists have developed artificial human skin that gives more accurate results. Computer programs have been made that can correctly predict the effects of medicines on humans (complex). Lives don’t have to be taken
