First, animals and humans are just too different. The reaction of a drug on an animal is very different then of a human. If animals are in an unnatural environment, they will be under stress therefore, they won't react to the drugs in the same way. Compared to their potential reaction in a natural environment it could give better results then locking the animals in cages (Murnaghan). If they did not influence these animals by putting them in enclosures and labs then …show more content…
Animals languish in pain, suffer from frustration, ache with loneliness and long to be free. If these animals had a say in if we should ban animal testing I bet that they all would rather have it banned other than keeping legal. More than 100 million animals in the US die every year just from this testing. They test cruel chemicals, drug, food, and cosmetics as well as they are used for medical training exercises and curiosity-driven medical experiments at universities. Animals also suffer and die in classroom biology experiments and dissections (Animal Testing 101). All these testing is for the human's curiosity, they only want to know what reaction they will get. If they saw how pointless this was and that its killing innocent animals then maybe they would give this a second thought. The animals they use in these experiments are usually killed right after a test or are severely injured and then held captive for life (Murnaghan). I think that if they continue these tests some animals may go extinct because they are being used for these unnecessary
