Animal Testing Is Cruel And Inhumane
Animal testing has been used by many companies ever since the 1960s. Companies have been using animals in a cruel way to test and prove that their new products are not dangerous. People from the companies who use animals for commercial testing are heartless people that can do harsh things to animals. Animal testing is cruel and inhumane, most experiments fail, and animals can get hurt just like humans, therefore animal testing should be banned.
Cruel and Inhumane
Using animals for scientific and commercial testing is cruel and inhumane. The fact that they use them for testing is cruel but what is crueler is the way they do it. During commercial testing animals are exposed to dangerous chemicals to test toxicity. To see if a product is deadly or not force-feeding, involuntary inhalation or even injections into the stomach are some of the things that are done to these defenseless creatures. Also, water and food denial, infliction of injuries, burns, or other wounds to study healing, addiction to drugs, chemicals dripped into their eyes, infected with disease viruses, and many other cruel methods are being used every day on animals. It is unfair to treat animals in such a harsh way to benefit humans with new beauty products, or even new medicines.

The correct thing is to let them be as free as they deserve to be. Animals should each be living in their own natural habitat instead of in a laboratory where all they do is get tortured to test new products and drugs. Testing animals is an unfair movement towards them since they go through a lot of unpleasantly rough processes and most of the time they even die, but at the end the only ones that are going to benefit are humans. It is cruel and inhumane to do testing on animals in such a harsh way, most experiments fail, and animals can feel everything just like humans, therefore the fair thing to do is to ban animal

“The world does not need another eyeliner, hand soap, food ingredient, drug for erectile dysfunction, or pesticide so badly that it should come at the expense of animals’ lives” (Top five). She is killed on the day she is expected to give birth. Her babies are extracted and evaluated for birth defects” (Cosmetic). These types of testing are morally wrong.…

Animal testing has always been a big issue around the world. Some people think that it is okay for animals to be tested on while others don’t. What even is animal testing? Animal testing is where scientists find new medications and test them on the animals before humans. Why might scientists test them on animals first? So, that if something goes wrong, only the animal would suffer and not a human. I am a critic for animal testing. I believe that animals have a purpose to the world just as much as humans do. Even if people don’t like rodents, that doesn’t mean we need to try and potentially kill them. Animals are very important to this world just like everyone else.…

Animal experimentation is not only cruel, but expensive as well. Thankfully, there are accurate, cheaper and quicker alternatives. First, there are the In vitro tests which are used to diagnose disease or health of patients using the patient's blood sample or body tissue. Another is microdosing, where humans are given low quantities of a product to test the effects on the body, without affecting the whole body system. There are also many computerized patient-drug databases, virtual drug trials, and stem cell and genetic testing methods. The United States alone spends about $16 billion dollars every year, coming from taxpayers, for animal experimentation. Just think about how much money the US could save if it abolished animal testing as a whole. The US has been in debt and in a depression for years, yet it continues to throw money down the toilet just to torture and kill animals. Animals are NOT the only way to test…

However, I do not believe that animal testing should NOT even be a thing. We have enough medicine in the world so why do we keep making more unneeded pain-relievers, cold and cough pills, don’t we have enough? People need to stop thinking about money and how popular their brand is and start thinking about how many animal lives are lost due to that. Proclaimers say that there is no alternative for animal testing but at Procon.org people say different, “ In vitro testing, such as studying cell cultures in a petri dish, can produce more relevant results than animal testing because human cells can be…
